Next Sunday Austin will be filled with superheroes. CASA is an organization that advocates for children who are victims of abuse. On Sept. 30 it will host it's annual 5K Superhero Run.

June 11, 2012 - Announces CASA of Williamson County is certified as a member in good standing with the National CASA Standards of Practice for Programs. During 2011-2012, the program completed the process for the National CASA Association Review and was in compliance with national standards of practice resulting in program certification. To be certified, the program had to verify that all areas of program organization and management, which include program governance, volunteer supports, fiscal management, human resource management, risk management, public relations and record keeping, met or exceeded guidelines established by the National CASA Association. The next National CASA review is anticipated to take place by the summer of 2016.
